WHAT???

Blue post... on upcoming patch talking about feral weapons losing FAP...

Some feral weapons have had strength converted to attack power to be more appealing to other classes able to equip them.

What a screw job this is! We are already sharing rogue leather which has no strength and now we have to share our weapons and they take strength away from there... Epic Fail Blizzard.

Jace, its actually quite good. We will be able to have a much wider range of weapons to use now and won't have to hope for one drop (think illhoof) which I actually never saw drop until a week before Wrath.

Just wait and see, it will be good in the long run.

Agreed; the price of being able to get any 2h weapon that we can use is that they won't be perfectly tailored to us. This is a good thing, and in the end we're talking about a 20-30 AP loss.

I'll happily trade 20-30 AP so that I can use any kind of weapon instead of only the FAP ones. I'll pay it double if it means the second time it drops, it doesn't get sharded and actually might have value to someone else in the raid.

This is separate from my core issue of having to roll or bid against other classes for Maces, who are going to be shocked the first time I want a mace they had their heart set on.

This is about removing strength from a staff that already has it and is really a feral staff at heart.

Itemizing what was once a feral staff to make it attractive to hunters I think sucks and seems to screw with druids at the same time as helping druids.
